Changing the way you
receive healthcare

  • Prescription Drugs

PHC California covers all of the prescription drugs that Medi-Cal covers. There are no copays and no deductibles when filled at network pharmacies.

To see if a drug you are taking is covered, look at the Comprehensive Formulary (List of Covered Drugs) (effective January 1, 2020).

Certain prescriptions may have quantity limits. Some may need to be approved by PHC California prior to being filled. The formulary shows which drugs have these restrictions. Your primary care provider, other specialist or prescriber or pharmacist will work with the plan to get approval if needed.

And there’s more to PHC California. Check out the plan’s added benefits.

The benefit information provided is a brief summary, not a complete description of benefits. Limitations and restrictions apply. Benefits, formulary, and/or pharmacy network may change.
