    If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms such as fever or cough, please call your primary care provider (PCP). It is important not to come to the clinic until after you have been assessed by phone. This is for your safety and the safety of others. Your PCP’s phone number is on your member ID card. If your PCP’s office is closed, call our Nurse Advice Line at 1-888-993-2880.

    PHC California is a Medi-Cal managed care plan. This plan is for people who are have a prior AIDS diagnosis, have Medi-Cal and live in Los Angeles, California. This plan is formerly known as Positive Healthcare California.

    PHC California is part of AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF). AHF is the nation’s largest HIV health care provider. It is also a strong advocate for people with HIV. AHF’s experience caring and advocating for people with HIV is built into plan.

    If you have a prior AIDS diagnosis, live in Los Angeles County and have Medi-Cal, PHC California may be the perfect plan for you. The plan covers these services with no co-pays, no premiums and no deductibles:

    • Primary care from doctors who are HIV experts
    • Routine and specialist doctor office visits
    • Hospitalization, and emergency and urgent care
    • Outpatient services
    • Personalized care from a Registered Nurse
    • Prescription drugs
    • Added benefits like a 24 Hour Fitness gym membership or up to $250 per year in nutritional products from GNC
