    If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms such as fever or cough, please call your primary care provider (PCP). It is important not to come to the clinic until after you have been assessed by phone. This is for your safety and the safety of others. Your PCP’s phone number is on your member ID card. If your PCP’s office is closed, call our Nurse Advice Line at 1-888-993-2880.

    PHP (HMO SNP) covers COVID-19 testing for no copay. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms and want to be tested, please contact your PCP for a referral.

    PHP (HMO SNP) is a Medicare Advantage health plan with prescription drug coverage for Medicare beneficiaries who have HIV and live in Fulton County, Georgia.

    The plan is backed by AIDS Healthcare Foundation and its more than 30 years of HIV health care experience.

    PHP is the first Medicare plan in the nation that offers comprehensive benefits specifically for people living with HIV. Members get all of the regular Medicare benefits and more at no additional cost. Their prescription drugs, especially HIV medications, are also covered for very reasonable cost sharing.

    Although PHP is new to Georgia, it has been in operation in California since 2006 and Florida since 2008. With a fast growing membership of more than 2,200 in California and Florida, PHP is the right choice for Medicare beneficiaries living with HIV.

    PHP is an HMO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in PHP depends on contract renewal.
